Hey Arcaders!
Were now 3 episodes into our look at what I think were the best consoles of the 1980s that brought the arcade experience home… and were at a machine I had and loved- the Atari 7800 Prosystem. A machine that should have been a bigger hit.. but was doomed by the video game crash of 1984, brought to the market.. three years too late- under the cost cutting Tramiels, But found new life in the 2000s by a fierce and loyal group of homebrew artists… who truly did.. bring the arcade home. lets go over its flawed history, specs, the great releases at its launch, and the incredible homebrews over the last 20 years… that have made the 7800 Prosystem a force to be reckoned with! And its future.. with the Atari 7800+ A brand new machine.. with new games!
