And…Im Back…

You might have noticed that the last few months have been a little…. Light on posts. And for that I apologize. This year for me has been a time of big changes in my life.

Earlier in 2024 my oldest daughter was diagnosed with cancer… It really took its toll on me mentally since all of you know that I had cancer 10 years before. Add to that that she was getting a divorce at the time..

Then… a bright spot- my youngest daughter married her long time boyfriend of eight years… all of this made me reflect on my own life and where I’ve been going…

Several Friends have moved on with their lives moving away The Uber nerd has moved with his wife and his new daughter to Texas and another amazing friend Sterling started over again back in their home state of Oregon so I felt pretty lonely lately… No pity necessary. I’m happy for them they’ve made great choices and are doing very well where they are I’m proud of both of them.

And then the last few months of the year have been a blur….

My wife works for the Disney Cruise line so we’ve had an opportunity to travel quite a bit this fall. First to Europe, then a nice 4 day just my wife and I… Then finally we got to do the Disney Treasure we were the first guest on the ship.

Which is why I really started lagging on posts… I needed time to reflect on everything.

So that’s why I apologize for not finishing the Atari months the way I had hoped to.

But then it dawned on me in December I thought maybe it’s time for a change maybe it’s time to revamp the site and focus more on what I love the most and that’s arcade games we had a great run with everybody involved but I think it’s time I take the rains back again so look forward to some new changes coming up in the next couple of months as I decide which direction we’re really going to go in…

Hopefully some new podcasts with some new friends and some old, and yes eventually I’ll get to the live streaming as well…

Again I apologize from the bottom of my arcade heart that I have not been there the last six or seven months just a lot going on and trying to work my way through it…
