Hey Arcaders!
Today’s the day! What day you ask? Well- it’s the 40th birthday of another classic arcade character and the game he is most famously known for! Of course I’m talking about our favorite Banana eating, barrel throwing, girl taking to the top of a unfinished building type gorilla… DONKEY KONG!
And to celebrate this momentous occasion- We are devoting the month of August on the Archives as Donkey Kong Month! We will delve deep into the history of the big guy, how he saved a manufacturer from certain ruin, also how he was the reason a plumber got his start!
Stay tuned Arcaders- we are GOING APE in August!
Keep Playin’ Like It’s 1981!
