Today, the Pokémon company had its own video presentation talking about additional information to New Pokémon Snap and announcing two new games for the Nintendo Switch: Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shinning Pearl and Pokémon Legends Arceus. Brilliant Diamond and Shinning Pearl are remakes of the classic Nintendo DS games that came out in 2006. According to what I saw in the video, it looks like the remakes are going to be a one-for-one from the DS games with a few exceptions. The biggest of which being it’s in 3D with a chibi art style similar to Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening. However, the most interesting in my opinion of the announcements though is Pokémon Legends Arceus which takes place in ancient Sinnoh. This game looks totally different from any Pokémon game before it as you have the ability to catch Pokémon without going into a turn-based battle like previous games.
