Much like with the games themselves, the music adds to the experience of being in the Star Wars Universe, whether it be on the desert sands of Tatooine or the forest moon of Endor. And whether it’s on foot with your blaster/lightsaber in hand, or in the cockpit of an X-Wing or the Millennium Falcon, you feel as if though you are there, taking on the Empire. Plus the sound chip in the Super NES only made it more ideal for the three games to be on the system, given that it had the ability to play music that had that orchestral feel, which is the backbone of what Star Wars is, as fans of John Williams’ music know best.
