Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse: We love burning town
This music is one of my personal favorite themes from Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse’s soundtrack, if I can pause for a moment I highly suggest purchasing. If you haven’t bought it yet, go to https://virt.bandcamp.com/album/shantae-and-the-pirates-curse-ost . Anyway, this theme is from one of the earlier parts of the game. You (as Shantae) are running through your home town of Scuttle Town as it is being attacked by Ammo Baron. This is a theme with most, if not all, of the Shantae games to date, as they all begin in the same fashion. Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse is the third game in the series but the first game that I played and this tune gets me excited to begin my adventure. The best description I can give this level is a tutorial type level very similar to the first level in Super Mario Bros. Without giving you anything to read this introduces you to Shantae’s attacks and abilities. If, like me, you didn’t play the game before, it’s a perfect intro both with gameplay and music.
