Tales From The Game Grid #1

Comic Number One 1/24/14

One of the hardest things for any Artist is to start something. When you are in the process of drawing or sketching something it’s easy. You have a vague idea in your head of how it’s going to end and that’s what you are working toward. But starting a drawing, sketch, or truly any kind of creative thing is incredibly hard. For me I had a lot of ideas so deciding what comic I was going to do first was a difficult task. I chose this one mainly because it was a very simple idea. I got the idea while playing The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD for the Wii U. As I was playing an idea came to me: “What does Ganondorf do while Link is out there doing stuff.” Usually when ideas like this come to me I usually laugh to myself or share it with a friend and continue on with my day. But knowing that I was going to start this comic I drew it out in kind of a rough form. To gauge how funny it is I showed it to some of my friends who laughed, I knew this was it. It was short, sweet, to the point and also something that might turn into a reoccurring comic. Because it was so short and because I wanted my first comic to pop a little I also decided to put this into color. Now this may not be the case for all the comics that I draw. However, this is process of improvement for me so as I get better at this who knows. Hope you enjoy it and please leave me a comment and let me know how I did. I want this comic to be a success so I need to know how I am doing.
